摘要

无论是在中国还是在西方，“超自然力量”都是文化和文学中不可或缺的一部分。当说到“超自然力量”时，大多数人立马浮现在脑海中的超自然生物就是中国的“鬼魂”与西方的“吸血鬼”。这两种超自然生物在各自的文学和文化中都占了很大一部分比例，是各自超自然力量的代表。美国作家斯蒂芬妮·梅尔的《暮光之城》从出版后，就在全世界引起了“吸血鬼狂潮”，当提到吸血鬼时，无人不会想到这部作品。而在中国，提到超自然文学时，必然会提到《聊斋志异》，它凭借其490多个超自然短篇故事（其中谈论鬼魂的有170多篇，多于全书三分之一）奠定了其文学经典的地位。虽然斯蒂芬妮·梅尔和蒲松龄来自不同的时代和国家，但他们都以超自然小说的形式反映了各自的社会文化。

本文通过比较文学的角度，采用平行研究的方法，通过文本细读的方式比较分析《聊斋志异》与《暮光之城》中超自然生物“吸血鬼”与“鬼魂”的文学形象的异同点，不同点聚焦在他们的起源与发展、永生与死亡及性别与欲望，相同点聚焦在他们文学形象的变化、超自然生物的社会建构及对爱情的不懈追求。通过他们的异同点揭示其背后不同的文化和宗教追求。本文研究发现，来自不同时代不同国家不同作品的两种超自然生物“吸血鬼”与“鬼魂”各自有着能反映其背后不同文化的不同特点，但与此同时，不同的文化也其妙地造就了两种超自然力量的一些相同点。通过对两个文学形象的对比分析，可以体现出中美对于文化、宗教及个人的追求，对于研究中美文化有着重要意义。
