摘要

商务英语词汇的词义转换现象非常普遍，包括一词多义现象和特殊的复数词。商务英语词汇的多义性是商务英语词汇学习的难点之一,一些多义词既具有普通词义又有商务词义。本文列举商务英语单词探讨词义的转换机制。研究中笔者发现，除了一些专业术语，词义的转换基本上都是在最基本词义的基础上进行延伸。通过隐喻的手法将词义和商务语境结合，在原有词义的基础上赋予新的商务词义；通过改变单复数形式，对某些词的复数形式给以新词义或使复数形式词在商务语境中作为新的名词使用。
