Cultivation of Intercultural Communicative Competence in Oral English Teaching in Junior High School

摘要

外语教学的根本目的就是为了实现跨文化交际，就是为了与不同文化背景的人进行交流。随着全球化时代的到来，跨文化交际越来越频繁，如何在初中英语口语教学中培养学生的跨文化交际能力成了我国外语教学中迫切需要解决的问题。本文通过强调在初中英语口语教学中培养跨文化交际能力的必要性，分别从学生和教师的角度分析影响培养跨文化交际能力的因素，最后给英语老师提供一些有用的教学意见和方法。

Abstract

The fundamental purpose of foreign language teaching is to achieve intercultural communication, that is, to communicate with people of different cultural backgrounds. With the advent of the era of globalization, cross-cultural communication is more and more frequent. How to cultivate students’ intercultural communicative competence in oral English teaching in junior high school has become an urgent problem to solve in foreign language teaching. This paper emphasizes the necessity of cultivating intercultural communicative competence in junior middle school oral English teaching, and analyzes the factors that affect the cultivation of intercultural communicative competence from the perspective of students and teachers. At last, the author provides some useful teaching ideas and methods for English teachers.
