摘要

文学来源于生活，每位作家的人生经历都会为自己的作品赋予独特的风格，因而世界文学史上出现了反战小说的身影。作为同时期的两本著名反战小说，美国作家海明威的《永别了，武器》(1929)与德国作家雷马克的《西线无战事》(1929)从不同角度表达了作者强烈的反战思想，展现了第一次世界大战的恶果，从而揭露了帝国主义战争对人类造成的身体、心灵双重创伤。本论文通过研究《永别了，武器》与《西线无战事》两本著作，可以充分认识作家的战争观及重申和平的重要性。

本文由五部分组成：第一部分介绍了两本小说的主要内容，第二部分介绍了存在主义的思想流派和哲学主张，第三部分比较分析了两本小说对反战思想刻画方式的异同，第四部分归纳得出两本反战小说的独特风格主要受作者生平、价值观与写作手法的影响，最后，在之前分析的基础上，达到深刻吸取战争历史教训及重申和平重要性的目的。反战小说不仅是作家生平与价值观的体现，更是当代人类以史为鉴，维护和平的重要参考书。
