摘要 

翻译，从外在层面来看，是一项不同语言之间的转换活动，但是从更深层的意义方面看，翻译能够使一种文化被另一种文化所认识和理解，甚至达到相互交融。翻译的产生与人类的发展互相促进。而翻译作为不同文化之间进行交流借鉴的桥梁，对一个民族和国家的文化软实力来说也是至关重要的。由于不同文化之间的差异，以及译者翻译策略的选择问题，中外文化交流还存在着许多阻碍。在我国大力推进“中国文化走出去”战略的背景下，本文以林语堂的代表性诗歌翻译作品为研究对象，探究诗歌的写作背景、文化内涵与写作意义等，并从中选取承载中国传统文化的文化负载词，辅以读者反映理论，运用各种翻译理论分析研究林语堂在翻译中国传统文化词语时运用的翻译方法与技巧，总结翻译经验，探求“中国文化走出去”的有效路径。
