Searching of Black People’s Identification in Richard Wright’s Native Son_英语论文

摘要

《土生子》是理查德·赖特最杰出的代表作，开了美国“抗议小说”之先河，被誉为美国黑人文学的里程碑。自其出版后，引起了各方评论，主要集中在阐述主题和人物性格方面。本论文在分析国内外对《土生子》的相关研究后，从比较小说中男主人公和三位黑人女性的形象及身份出发，试探究出了在美国这样一个白人统治的社会中，黑人男女“边缘人”的相同身份下，黑人女性更是成为受到来自种族和性别双重压迫下的“驴子”。然后本篇论文进一步解释了造成黑人女性身份危机原因及结果，最后引起反思：只有尊重和认同本民族的文化，才能在与其他文化碰撞中保持自己的身份和地位。
