摘要

艾丽丝·门罗的短篇小说《逃离》讲述了一个女人如何从丈夫身边逃离的故事，其中含有大量的意象描写，对于人物塑造和主题渲染起到了十分重要的作用。本论文首先简要介绍艾丽丝门罗的文学成就与写作风格，其次论述文学中意象的相关理论。论文的主体部分从小说《逃离》中山羊意象“弗洛拉”入手，通过其在小说中的三次出现分析该意象与人物的关系，研究该意象在《逃离》中的内涵意义及其对揭示主题的作用。
