摘要

英国风景式园林作为英国独特地理文化的产物，其发展历程、造园手法、设计思想均与中国古典风景式园林有着泾渭分明的区别。但英国风景式园林同时也受到中国园林的影响，在建设中有意或无意地照搬或模仿中国园林的设计或引进元素。这些模仿虽然相对拙劣，没有体现中国园林“虽由人作，宛自天开”以及“本与自然而高于自然”的核心思想，但在园林符号传播的过程中，园林思想的变化以及对应的文化差异也是可以管中窥豹的。本文通过分析中国传统古典风景式园林与英国风景式园林的异同，藉以分析中西方文化差异，为中西方园林文化融合、中西方文化交流提供借鉴。
