初中英语课堂教学的文化导入_英语论文

Culture Introduction in Chinese Middle School English Teaching

摘要

如今,文化教育的重要性已经成为英语教育界一个越来越重要的话题。语言与文化密不可分的关系决定了我们的英语学习既是语言学习的过程,又是文化学习的过程。对于英语教师来说,教一门语言的同时也是教一门文化。然而,仍然有一些普遍的现象存在于中学英语的文化教育中。比如学生可以快速的掌握词汇以及灵活的运用语法,但当与外国人接触时,由于存在一些文化差异可能使他们无法流畅的进行交流。因此,广大教师应该注重培养学生学习文化的兴趣,尤其在中学英语教育中,将文化系统且有效的导入到教学中是非常必要的。

在中国,大多数老师在中学课堂中都是以语法规则和句法结构为教学重点,很少将文化知识灌输给学生。英语教学的同时应该进行文化教学。也就是说,广大英语教师不应该仅仅注重训练学生的语言技能,还要注意培养学生的文化意识。

本文意在说明将初中英语课堂的教学和文化的导入相结合是非常必要的。适当的对学生进行文化导入可以提高他们学英语的兴趣以及培养良好的交际能力。同时,本文也针对在中学的英语文化教育中所存在的问题,提出了相应的解决方法。

Abstract

With the rapid development of globalization, English has become an increasing significant role in international communication. More and more concerns are paid to the relationship between English language and culture since it has become one of the topical issues in the field of English teaching. Language is a carrier of culture, and it is also the mirror of culture. However, after many years of English study, even college students still find it hard to communicate with English native speakers because they lack the knowledge of the target culture. So English teachers should help students know about the culture background in teaching, especially in middle school. Teacher should focus on culture study and learn the skills of communication. 

English teaching is primarily for the purpose of achieving cross-cultural communication. Also, it aims to train the students to improve practical application of the language ability. Language and culture are inseparably connected, which determine the process of learning English language should be a cultural learning process at the same time. So, it is necessary for English teachers to introduce culture into class teaching.
