摘要

《生活大爆炸》作为热播中的情景喜剧能够真实反映美国民众的生活，从多个角度为我们展现美语大环境。因此对该剧词汇特征的研究能够帮助我们更深层次的认识到美语的特点，并将研究结果应用与教学之中。本文以语料库语言学的相关理论为基础，采用定性与定量相结合的方法，利用检索软件AntConc, Wordsmith以及统计软件SPSS 16.0对美国时下热播中的《生活大爆炸》的字幕进行数据处理，拟从词汇变化度、词汇长度、词汇密度、主题词以及用词特点五个方面来分析该剧的词汇特征,并分析该剧的难点。同时也希望能够以此为美语学习者提供学习的新视角和方法。

Abstract

The Big Bang Theory as a hot American situation comedy can truly show the life of American people and reflect the environment of American English. So the study of the lexical features of this comedy can lead to a better and deeper understanding of American language. And its results can be used in learning and teaching. This paper is based on the related knowledge of corpus linguistics, using the method of combining qualitative and quantitative to analyze the data under the help of concordance software, AntConc and WordSmith as well as statistical package, SPSS 16.0. This study tries to analyze the lexical features in The Big Bang Theory from five different aspects: lexical variety, lexical length, lexical density, key words and linguistic style. At the same time, this paper will analyze the difficulties while watching this TV series. And this paper may provide new perspectives and methods for English learners.
