摘要

    众所周知，人们周围有许许多多的动物。随着时间的流逝，越来越多的动物成为了习语中的一部分，这些包含了动物词汇的习语被称为动物习语。但是，它们在中英文习语中的意思并不都是一样的。本论文中，作者通过分析中英文动物习语来介绍一些中西方文化差异。了解习语的异同是学习中西方文化差异的好方法。只有更好的了解中西方文化差异，大家才能把英语学的更好，才能更好的与他人进行跨文化交际。

Abstract

As is known to all, there are numerous animals around people. And with time going by, more and more animals become a part of Idioms, those called animal idioms. Nevertheless, they do not always have the similar meaning in Chinese and English idioms.     In this paper, the author introduce some cultural differences through the English and Chinese from Animal Idioms. Knowing the differences and similarities between English and Chinese animal idioms is a great way to learn more cultural differences. Only by knowing the cultural differences well, can learners learn English better and make cross-cultural communication with others.
