Feminine Awakening of Elsa in Frozen

摘要

在《冰雪奇缘》这部动画作品中，导演对男权社会中的女性意识进行了深入挖掘，对艾尔莎渴望女性解放以及渴望实现自我意识进行描绘，通过丰富的女性形象实现了女性观的表述。

本文主要内容是先综合阐述艾尔莎的女性意识，接下来描述电影中艾尔莎女性意识的觉醒过程。包括艾尔莎女性意识的自我封闭、萌芽、发展到最后艾尔莎女性意识的自我觉醒。然后针对艾尔莎觉醒的原因，从家庭、社会和个人这几个方面阐述。最后，就艾尔莎女性意识的觉醒的先进性与局限性进行评论。

本文主要目的是通过对艾尔莎女性意识觉醒的创新，呼吁更多的人关注女性以及激发女性自我意识的觉醒。

Abstract

In the film, from the director carried on the thorough excavation of female consciousness in the patriarchal society. And this film described that females were eager to release themselves and yearn to awaken feminine consciousness. And it made a formulation on females by various woman characters. 

Combined with the plot of this film, the thesis will first make a summary of Elsa’s feminine consciousness awakening. In the next place, the thesis illustrates the process of Elsa’s feminine awakening. The process includes four periods: the self-enclosure period, the germination of Elsa’s feminine awakening, the development of Elsa’s feminine awakening, and the full filament period. Last but not least, the thesis makes comments on the reasons of the awakening of Elsa’s feminine consciousness, and it mainly analyzes from the following aspects: family, society and personality. Eventually, this thesis makes a statement about the advancements and limitations of Elsa’s feminine awakening.

The main purpose of this thesis is to call for more attention to feminine issues and to motivate the awakening of feminine self-consciousness.
