摘要

从20世纪中叶以来，女权运动在西方得到不断的发展，表现女性自我意识的文学作品也越来越多，其中多丽丝·莱辛的《金色笔记》就向我们展示了当时自由女性的独立意识以及生活状况。本论文从“自由女性”视角，以安娜和莫莉为例，梳理了她们作为“自由女性”与传统女性完全不同的思想和生活。由于时代背景以及自身的原因，作为自由女性的她们也面临着很多困难，比如精神崩溃、身份分裂以及传统道德的压迫，但是她们一直努力摆脱困境。基于此，本论文分析了“自由女性”面临的困境，揭示了个中原因，并论证了她们追寻自由、重构身份的进程。

Abstract

Since the middle of the 20th century, feminist movement has developed very well in the Western countries and there are more and more literary compositions which represent female self-consciousness. Doris Lessing’s The Golden Notebook is one of the compositions, from which we can know the female intellectuals and the living conditions of free women. This thesis pays attention to the free women, such as Anna and Molly. Through the analysis, we can know the free women’s freer thoughts and lives compared with the traditional women. And because of the historical background and the cause of their own, they also have many dilemmas in their lives, such as the mental breakdown, the splitting of the identity and the oppression of the traditional morality. Therefore, this thesis analyzes the dilemma of the free women and its causes; it also makes an enquiry into the whole process of the free women’s seeking freedom and the reconstruction of their identity.
