Analysis on the Factors Influencing Second Language Acquisition 

摘要

有关语言习得的研究,已有很多国内外学者经过各类实验和大量数据,解释影响学习者语言习得的诸多因素。而关于第二语言习得的研究则是一个相对来说比较新的范畴。本文在过去该范畴研究成果的基础上加之本人对该学科的了解,分别从学习者个人因素如年龄,母语,认知和情感因素,外在因素如文化,社会身份和语言环境对第二语言习得的影响进行透彻的分析,各个因素是怎样影响第二语言习得及学习者怎样利用这些因素更好的进行第二语言学习都将会在本文指出。通过对影响第二语言习得因素的研究,将会给英语教学工作带来一些启发,并为学习者的学习活动提供一些有利的指导。

Abstract

On the study of language acquisition, many scholars at home and abroad have explained the factors that affect learners to learn the language through a variety of experiments and a large amount of data. With regard to the study of the second language acquisition, it is a relatively new field. Referring to the previous research results of this field as well as my understanding of this subject, this paper makes analysis of the factors that affect the second language acquisition from the learners individual factors such as age, mother tongue, cognitive and emotional factors, external factors such as culture, social status and language environment. How each factor influences the second language acquisition and how to use these factors to better conduct the second language learning are also discussed in this article. The research of the elements that affect the second language acquisition has direct pedagogical implications and instructions in English teaching. It can provide some useful guidance for teachers' teaching and learners' learning activities.
