摘要

人们对中国美食文化的需求不断增长，通过对中国美食的展现，能够给人们带来对中国文化和民俗方面的认识和探讨。本文以美食纪录片《BBC之发现中国：美食之旅》的字幕翻译为例，着眼于功能目的论指导下的纪录片的字幕翻译研究，通过结合实例探索目的原则、连贯性原则和忠实性原则的指导，以及目的论指导下，重复、増译、省略、语序转换和语态转换的翻译技巧，以期能够推进其他美食纪录片的翻译进程，特别是中国美食的代表作《舌尖上的中国》的字幕翻译，推动中国美食文化的传播。
