A Correlational Study of Corporate Social Responsibility and Corporate Competitiveness

摘要

企业社会责任(Corporate Social Responsibility,CSR)正逐步成为人们的关注点和热门话题,现在媒体的关注点也由企业的经营管理模式转向企业对社会的影响。由于企业在产业革命背景下,其生产活动的问题日益暴露出来,企业社会责任这一概念便逐渐凸显。企业在为自身创造利益,为各位股东的利益负责的同时,还要承担对员工,对社会,对环境等其他利益相关者的责任。这种看似额外附加给企业的责任,其实从长远角度来看实质上是企业的核心竞争力的战略储备。企业积极主动地承担社会责任,便会给企业带来良好的声誉,良好的信誉则可以为企业带来更好的客户,吸引更多优秀的人才,从而进一步加强了企业的实力。

Abstract

Corporate Social Responsibility(CSR)is becoming people’s concern and a popular topic. Media has already turned their focus from corporate management model to the impact on society.  Corporate social responsibility was prominent because the problems of enterprises production actions are exposed under the Industrial Revolution. Corporations make benefits for themselves and have responsibilities to shareholders, employees, society, environment and other stakeholders. In fact, these “additional” responsibilities are strategic reserves for competitiveness in the long term. If enterprises take social responsibility actively, good reputation will come accordingly. Good reputation not only attract more clients and talents, but also enhance enterprise’s strength.
