Strategies of Advertisement translation

摘要:随着经济全球化的发展,广告,一种特殊的行业,在当今社会发挥着日益重要的作用。被称为是商业化身的广告已渗透到社会的各处,已经逐渐成为人们日常生活中的一个重要部分,不仅能给人们带来感官上的冲击,而且也是作为商家盈利的重要手段之一。自从中国加入世贸组织,越演越烈的产品的市场竞争,而广告在促进产品销售和繁荣市场经济等方面的作用也越来越突出,广告翻译的地位也变得越来越重要,为了在国际贸易中“使世界了解中国,让中国走向世界”,进行广告语翻译的研究,对于促进双向交流有着十分重要的意义。此篇论文将探索广告语的特点及翻译的基本策略。

Abstract:With the development of economic globalization, advertisement, as a special industry, plays an increasingly important role in today's society. Embodiment described as commercial advertising has penetrated into every corner of the society, gradually become an important part in People's Daily life, it not only brings on the impact of the senses, and it is one of the important means of business profits. Since China's accession to the WTO, the market of the product competition is escalating, and advertising to promote product sales and the prosperity of the market economy is becoming more and more obvious, and the role of advertisement translation status also appears more and more important, in order to in international trade "make the world understand China, let China to the world", the slogan translation research, to promote two-way communication has very important significance. This paper will explore the characteristics of advertising language and the basic strategies of translation.
