摘要

本文旨在研究美国情景喜剧片《摩登家庭》和中国情景喜剧片《家有儿女》，从跨文化角度探究中西方父性教育差异。通过文本分析和对比分析的方法，在具有可比性的片段中，作者发现差异体现在父亲子女关系和父亲教育方式差异两方面。在整个研究过程中，作者以传统文化价值观—美国个人主义和平等理念，中国集体主义和儒家主义为理论框架来解释差异产生的原因。

根据对比发现，在父亲与子女关系方面，中国父亲在子女异性朋友，隐私和兴趣爱好方面不太信任和尊重子女。同时，他们对子女过度保护，通过避免子女成长道路中的阻碍来增强他们的自信。相比之下，西方的父亲重视个体平等。他们很少阻止孩子结识异性朋友，一般不侵犯孩子的隐私，也不干涉孩子的兴趣爱好。西方的父亲往往会教育孩子靠自己解决问题。中国的父亲和子女关系偏向等级制度，父亲要求孩子的顺从，在家庭中也保持严肃的形象；而西方父亲与子女关系亲密，除了长辈的身份，他们更像孩子的朋友和导师。关于教育方式，在子女恋爱，家庭矛盾，成绩差方面。中国的父亲通常用暴力和体罚来教育孩子，而西方父亲采取启蒙方式，他们更重视孩子的个性发展。
