摘要

随着世界经济化的发展，中国与世界其他国家的经济贸易往来变得越来越频繁，同时，商务英语信函肩负着作为各国在贸易活动中交流沟通的桥梁和枢纽作用的使命。其中，拒绝类商务英语信函在商务交流中也有着一种不可替代的作用，委婉语作为商务拒绝信函中不可缺少的部分，在世界上被广泛的使用。有效的使用委婉语可以促进贸易双方的交流，给合作方留下好的印象。该论文主要分析了委婉语在商务英语拒绝信函中的具体应用，希望通过本文，能让读者认识到在商务拒绝信函中委婉语的具体使用特点，最终更好地掌握委婉语在商务拒绝信函中的应用，从而更有效的写好商务拒绝信函。

基于委婉语在商务拒绝信函中的重要性，本文主要分析委婉语在商务拒绝信函中的具体应用。除去摘要和总结，本文共有四个部分，第一部分主要介绍委婉语的信息；第二部分介绍商务拒绝信函的定义、特点以及写作原则；第三部分着重从词汇、语法以及句型等三个方面分析委婉语在商务拒绝信函中的具体应用；第四部分主要讨论委婉语在商务拒绝信函中的功能。

Abstract

With the development of the global economy, the trade contacts between China and other countries in the world are more frequent. Meanwhile, business English letters are responsible for the bridge and hub role of exchange and communication in trade activities. Among them, the denial of business English correspondence has an irreplaceable role in business communication. As an indispensable part of the business refusal letters, the euphemism is widely used in the world. Using euphemisms effectively can facilitate the communication between the two sides, and leave a good impression on the other side. This paper mainly analyzes the specific application of euphemisms in business English refusal letters, and hopes that through this analysis, readers can make themselves realize the specific characteristics of euphemisms in business refusal letters. We should better grasp the application of euphemisms in business refusal letters, so as to write business refusal letters more effectively.

Based on the importance of euphemisms in business refusal letters, this paper mainly analyzes the application of euphemisms in business refusal letters. In this paper, apart from abstract and conclusion, there are four parts. The first part mainly introduces the basic concept of euphemisms. The second part introduces the general information of business refusal letters. The third part focuses on the analysis of the specific application of euphemisms in business refusal letters from three aspects of vocabulary, grammar and sentence patterns. The fourth part mainly discusses the functions of euphemisms in business refusal letters.
