How to Improve High School Students' Writing on the Basis of Constructivism Learning Theory

摘要

在中国高考中,英语作文在英语单科中所占有的比例高达20%甚至25%,使得考生拥有熟练的写作能力变得非常重要。高考模式改革会改变语文,数学,英语,理综以及文综的分数,但英语写作依然占有相当高的比例,这证明英语写作将继续作为高考中的重要一项。

现如今,我们很容易发现高中学生抱怨英语写作太难且无聊以至于他们对英语写作没太大的兴趣,但因为它在考试以及将来的生活和事业中的重要性,他们又必须花很多努力在英语写作上。同时,对教师们来说,如何提高学生的写作水平一直是个占据无数时间精力的大难题,每每谈及这个问题,很多高中的英语老师有着各种各样的观点。

鉴于目前的高考英语写作的命题与建构主义学习理论颇有关联,我认为我们可以用建构主义学习理论来帮助学生提高他们的英语写作能力。本着希望能够给广大考生以及教师们提供些灵感的初衷,作者在本文中对如何在在建构主义的基础上提高高中生英语写作能力进行探讨。

Abstract 

Writing score’s proportion that it accounts in English total score of Chinese college entrance examination is pretty high, which makes writing important for students to have a skillful writing ability.Even though college entrance examination mode reform has been changing the score of Chinese, Math, English, Science and Art, English writing still has a high proportion, which proves that writing will continue to be important.

Nowadays, we can easily find that many high school students(even some middle school students)complain the English writing is so difficult and boring that they have little interest in it.However, they have to spend efforts on it because of its great importance in students’ examination, as well as in people’s life and career.     Meanwhile, how to improve students' writing, for teachers, is also a hard nut which takes them a lot of time and efforts.When it comes to how to improve high school students' writing, various High school English teachers have numerous ideas about it.

Considering that the presentment writing preposition has much to do with constructivism learning theory, the writer  think we may use constructivism learning theory to help students improve their writing.Therefore I bring it into focus here, hoping it can provide some inspirations for both students and teachers.
