摘要
近年来,随着经济全球化和中国国际贸易的快速发展,商务英语翻译研究日益升温。本文介绍了商务英语词汇的特点,指出商务英语词汇翻译中的存在的误译现象,提出在功能翻译理论指导下,遵循忠实、准确和专业的翻译原则翻译商务术语、缩略语和多义词,旨在提高商务英语词汇的翻译质量。

Abstract
In recent years, the speeding up of economic globalization process and China's opening-up policy accelerate the upgrading of China's foreign trade sector. Correspondingly, there has been an upsurge of enthusiasm for business English translation. Firstly, this thesis makes a brief introduction of characteristics of business English and the necessity of researching on business English translation. Next, the thesis points out the existing problems of mistranslation in business English words translation. Then it puts forward Functional Translation Theory, which is the guidance of translating business terms, polysemy and abbreviation while the translation should abide by three principles of faithfulness, accuracy and profession, in order to improve the translation quality.

1. Introduction
1.1Background information
Since China furthers the reform and opening-up policy after having joined the WTO, its economy has been developing rapidly, and international business English is becoming more and more important. Business English means English usage in the business activities. Business English, which only use in the field of foreign countries called Foreign Trade English.
Business English specializes in economy and trade, financial industry, public relations and marketing. In other words, it is the accumulation of the business knowledge in business background, business language, and business communication. Business English is a language with specific aim serves for the international business activities. It based on the basic grammar and words of common English; it not only has its particular language characteristic but also the unique language phenomenon. Business English is mostly used in the international trade, and it is a necessary communicating language between cooperation companies. With the quick development of international economy, business English attaches more and more attention. The main characteristics of business English are specialization, colloquialism and high pertinence. After all, practical utility is the biggest feature of Business English.
