摘  要

自1949年成立至今，NBA（美国职业男子篮球协会）已经发展成为世界上最为成功的职业赛事之一，并成为家喻户晓的体育品牌。在中国，从NBA传入中国到现在，也取得了不小的成功，受到大众的热烈欢迎。通过不断观看NBA比赛和接触与之有关的事物，可以发现在NBA英语词汇的使用中有很多特点，所以研究NBA中的词汇可以为观众选择，理解以及享受比赛提供方向。本文以NBA所使用的英语词汇作为研究对象，通过资料搜集对NBA中的词汇所具有的特点进行分析，并且介绍几种翻译方法。希望通过此文能让NBA篮球迷们了解NBA词汇蕴含的知识，更好地观看比赛。与此同时能有益于英语学习者和翻译工作者对NBA英语的学习和翻译工作。

Abstract

NBA (The National Basketball Association) is established in 1949. After sixty years or so, it has become the most wonderful and explosive matches in the whole world. It has become the most famous sport brand. As NBA spreads in China, it has also made great achievements. Now NBA is popular and gradually warmly welcomed by public in China. By frequently watching NBA matches and contacting with other things related to NBA, many impressive features of NBA vocabulary formation can be found. Therefore，study of these characteristics can provide a direction for audiences to choose, comprehend and enjoy NBA games. NBA vocabularies are studied as subject in the thesis. By gathering information, this paper aims to analyze several characteristics of NBA vocabulary, and to exemplify the approaches of translation of NBA English vocabulary. Through this paper, it is expected that Basketball fans of NBA can better enjoy watching NBA game and informing themselves more about NBA, and that it is useful and valuable for English learners and translators in their translation practice.
