目的论指导下的儿童绘本英译汉探究_英语论文

On the English to Chinese Translation of Picture Books from the Perspective of the  Skopos Theory

摘要

儿童绘本因其生动的图画和有趣的文字，能够激发儿童的想象力和创造力，并能培养儿童早期阅读能力，近年来受到越来越多的关注，尤其是发展相对成熟的国外儿童绘本。值得注意的是，引进绘本的翻译质量决定了引进工作的成败。本文从目的论的角度对儿童绘本的英译汉进行分析，讨论了提高儿童绘本翻译质量的具体方法，并从字、词、句层面提出了相应的建议。

Abstract

With vivid pictures and interesting narratives, picture books can stimulate children’s imagination and creativity, and cultivate their early reading ability. Picture books, especially high-quality ones introduced from abroad, have become increasingly popular in China. It is worth noting that the quality of translation of introduced picture books can make or break the introduction work. This paper analyzes the English to Chinese translation of picture books from the perspective of the Skopos Theory in order to explore specific ways to improve the quality of translation. Given the vital role played by picture books in children’s early education, the translation study of them is both necessary and meaningful.
