Abstract:

With the development of the society and the enhancement of the economic globalization, the communication between countries has been becoming more and more frequent. English, the most widely used language in the world, has played an increasingly important role. Everyone realizes that English is very important in lives and most of us are interested in it. However, when Chinese learners of English do translation from Chinese to English, their translations may unavoidably be influenced by the mother tongue or non-standard English. So a new language form appears, which is called “Chinglish”. In this paper, the author firstly gives some introduction to Chinglish. Through analyses, we will have a preliminary understanding of Chinglish. Next, the definition of Chinglish and differences between Chinglish and China English are given. Thirdly, the paper takes some specific examples to illustrate Chinglish from five angles in the translation, including Chinglish in Menu, Public Places, Websites, Student’s Translation and Interpretation. And then, the author also puts forward some possible solutions for each specific situation. Fourthly, the author analyzes the influences in two sides---positive and negative effects. In the end, the author gives out the conclusion that Chinglish in translation is unavoidable to be used on many occasions.

摘  要：

随着经济的发展，经济全球化趋势的增强，各国之间的交流越来越频繁，英语作为世界上应用最广泛的语言，扮演了越来越重要的角色。每个人都意识到了英语的重要性，大多人对英语表现出了浓厚的兴趣。然而，中国的英语学习者在把汉语翻译成英语的时候，他们的译文难免会受到母语或不规则英语的影响，于是出现了一种新的语言形式——中式英语。本文首先对中式英语作了介绍，通过分析，我们对中式英语有了初步的了解；其次作者介绍了中式英语的定义以及中式英语和中国英语的对比；第三，文章中引用了一些例子从五个方面来阐述了中式英语，包括中式英语在菜谱、公共场所、网络、学生的翻译以及口头翻译中的表现，并且对于每一种特定场合给出了与其相对应的措施；第四，作者分析了中式英语正、负两个方面的影响；最后，作者总结全文给出结论中式英语的使用在很多场合的使用其实是不可避免的。
