摘要：

翻译美学是翻译与美学的结合，近年来，随着越来越多学者投入到翻译美学理论研究中，翻译美学理论蓬勃发展。宋词是我国传统文化的代表之一，传播传统文化是我们义不容辞的责任。本文从翻译美学视角分析宋词英译，以期为宋词英译提供好的翻译方法。文章首先介绍翻译美学理论的起源与发展，及著名大家的翻译理论，其次用刘宓庆的翻译美学理论，对比分析中外大家对李清照词的翻译，从而总结出较好的翻译方法，为宋词英译提供借鉴。

Abstract:

Translation aesthetics is the combination of translation and aesthetics. Recently, more and more scholars devoted themselves to the development of translation aesthetics, which accelerate the development of translation aesthetic theory. While Song lyrics is the essence of our traditional culture, and it is our responsibility to popularize it. This paper has continued the research of Song lyrics’ translation from the perspective of translation aesthetics. First of all, the paper introduces the development of translation aesthetics theory and some main professors’ theories, such as Professor Liu Miqing and Professor Xu Yuanchong. Then, the paper focuses on several translation works of Li Qingzhao’s Ci. From the principles of translation aesthetics raised by Liu Miqing, the author compares different translated versions of lyrics, and figured out whose version is better to translate the lingering charm of Song lyrics. Finally, the author gives a conclusion on translation methods.

1. Introduction
1.1 Background of this study
With the rapid development of globalization, countries are getting increasingly connected, and cultural exchanges are becoming increasingly frequent. When receiving western culture, we are responsible for popularizing Chinese culture, especially Chinese literature. For thousands of years, Song Lyrics have become crystal of culture and wisdom of Chinese people, taking an important role in the history of Chinese literature. Culture is unlimited, and the beauty of Song Lyrics should be shown to all people around the world. Thus, we have to translate Song Lyrics, whose essence is their lingering charm. These years, the translation of Song Lyrics has attracted more and more scholars, and they have already produced some translation techniques, translation theories as well as translated works. However, how to translate the lingering charm of Song Lyrics is really a challenge for translators.
  Translation aesthetics, the combination of translation and aesthetics, provides a platform for the study of Song Lyrics translation. Nowadays, an increasing number of scholars have devoted themselves to the study and application of translation aesthetics, contributing to the development of translation aesthetics, such as Professor Liu Miqing and Professor Xu Yuanchong. The improvement of theory of translation aesthetics has laid a solid foundation for its practical application.
