摘 要

本文以《带家具出租的房间》为例，探讨在英译汉过程中的直译与意译现象。首先，本文介绍了选题的背景以及写作的目的。其次，介绍了直译与意译的概念以及两者之间的关系。然后通过比较康明强、朱碧恒、孙倩三人的翻译版本，具体分析直译与意译的运用。最后是作者自己的一些看法。

ABSTRACT

 This paper takes The furnished Room as the object of study. It focuses on the phenomenon of the literal translation and the free translation in English to Chinese translation. First of all, this paper introduces some background information and the purpose of writing. Secondly, this paper introduces the concept of the literal translation and free translation as well as their relationships. Then, there are some case analysis of different translations by Kang Mingqiang, Zhu Biheng and Sun Qian. At last, this paper offers the author’s views.
