摘要：

电影是目前最有影响力的大众文化和媒体之一，它已经成为我们现代生活的重要组成部分。随着越来越多的华语电影被介绍到国外，影片片名的英译无疑成为了中文电影走向国际化的关键障碍之一。好的译名能够跨越语言和文化的障碍，促进中西方文化和艺术的交流。本文分析了电影片名的特点、功能，搜集了许多国内电影片名英译案例，总结出了三种较为有效的翻译策略和翻译方法。

Abstract:

As one of the most influential popular culture and media, film has become an important part of our modern life. With more and more Chinese films being introduced to foreign countries, the translation of Chinese film title undoubtedly becomes one of the key barriers for Chinese films’ internationalization. Good translation helps to cross language and cultural barriers, and promote the exchange of Chinese and western culture and art. This paper sums up three effective translation strategies and translation methods through analyzing the characteristics and functions of film titles and gathering many domestic film title translation cases.
