摘  要

在经济全球化发展的强大趋势下，各个国家之间的文化交流也越来越频繁普遍。流行音乐歌曲在人们的精神领域中占有重要的地位，而大量涌入的英文歌曲也带来了中西文化在精神层面上的碰撞交流。可是在国内翻译界，歌词翻译却一直不被重视。本文简单介绍了翻译在国内的5个发展阶段，英歌汉译的现状以及歌词翻译在文化传播中的重要性等，阐述了英文歌词的特性、翻译难点，引入奈达的功能对等理论对歌词翻译所要遵循的原则、策略和技巧进行讨论，最后探索出歌词翻译中所体现的文化差异，归纳在歌词翻译中体现出的文化因素及其对中西方文化交流的意义和启示。

Abstract

With the development of economic integration and international co-operation, cultural exchange has become more and more frequently. Music has become an essential part of cultural communication globally and plenty of English songs flood into China and incur the cultural clash at spiritual level. There is no doubt that translating foreign songs into Chinese both semantically and emotionally presents a great challenge to translators. However, lyrics translation has long been ignored in translation world. In this thesis, the author introduces the five development process stages, current situation and importance of lyrics translation. Then the thesis states the characteristics of English-Chinese lyrics and difficulties in its translation, briefly introduces the Functional Equivalence and discusses the principles, strategies and techniques of lyrics translation. Exploring the cultural differences embodied in English-Chinese lyrics translation and concludes the significance and enlightenment of the study on lyrics translation culture at the end of this thesis.
